The leading digital fashion house, The Fabricant, has collaborated with an Asia-based entertainment agency, Club Media. Club Media’s Hong Kong-born digital artist and transhuman RUBY 9100M, has created an exclusive one of one digital fashion NFT look that dropped for auction last week on SuperRare. This took place before the Crypto Fashion Week scheduled on September 13, 2021, at 18:00 CET where The Fabricant will be making its digital red carpet appearance.
Crypto Fashion Week’s inaugural Meta Gala, awaited on September 17, 2021, will be hosted by the founder of Universe Contemporary, Lady PheOnix, to celebrate all things digital-only fashion. The Meta Gala, where the NFT wearables will be available for auction, will happen on an interactive web portal. A portion of the sales from the auction will go towards promoting and facilitating a more equal, equitable and democratic fashion industry by supporting independent digital fashion designers.

The Co-Founder and Creative Director at The Fabricant, Amber Slooten, said that this collaboration will help us to emphasize and reclaim the innocence of the femme energy. Our inspiration has been Wu Zetian, who was the first female empress to disrupt the gender binary and allowed women to wear what were traditionally men’s clothes. The culture flourished like never before under her rule and she led to the creation of a balanced society. But Wu Zetian has been misinterpreted and ridiculed. Thus, reclaiming innocence became the right approach for the feeling of this project. She added, the energy of Ruby9100m is refreshing and something we can all use in our lives right now.
Inspiration For The NFT Look
The digital fashion piece will be reiterated exclusively in the Meta Gala’s virtual landscape. The Meta Gala landscape takes inspiration from the stairs of the Met museum in New York and M.C. Escher’s graphic art style. Its multidimensional space with virtual influencers, avatars and entertainment personalities showcasing the garments of digital designers pushes against the boundaries of the physical world.

The 3D Digital Artist and Transhuman, RUBY 9100M, said that Generation Z is a revolution in art and fashion. Ruby’s emboldened identity as Empress of the Metaverse and a digital trailblazer, and the aesthetic and eclectic culture of Hong Kong have together inspired The Fabricant’s digital fashion team to design the garment that embodies femininity and majesty in the metaverse.
The launch of an exclusive headpiece filter powered by Meitu coincides with the release of the second NFT which drops on Friday, September 10th at 6 pm CET on the SuperRare platform. Meitu will allow users a virtual experience of RUBY 9100M’s Empress of the Metaverse look and goes live on Friday, September 17th.
